The new SEO Monitor extracts and compares 13 distinct SEO fields at each check, generating specific alerts for each type of change.

2. What the new SEO Monitor detects

At each check, OmniWatchGuard extracts and compares the following elements:

TITLE Full title tag text and character length

META DESCRIPTION Meta description text and length — alert if over 160 chars or empty

H1 Number of H1s and first H1 text — alert if missing or multiple

H2 Total number of H2s on the page

CANONICAL Canonical URL — alert if changed or missing

META ROBOTS noindex/nofollow detection — critical alert if page becomes non-indexable

OG TITLE og:title — title shown when sharing on social media

OG DESCRIPTION og:description — description shown when sharing

OG IMAGE og:image — preview image for social media

SCHEMA TYPES Schema.org JSON-LD types present on page (Product, Article, FAQ etc.)

3. How AI detection works for SEO
